We're Hiring: Pediatric Dietitian!
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Pediatric Dietitian to provide specialized nutrition care for infants, children, and adolescents. This Pediatric Dietitian will provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling across a pediatric population. This role supports various outpatient programs as well as inpatient nutrition coverage within a leading children’s hospital.
Location: Baltimore, MD
Role: Pediatric Dietitian - Travel Assignment
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (5x8 - Hour Shifts)
Remote Flexibility: 1 remote day per week (optional)

What We're Looking For:

What You'll Do
- Assess patients' nutritional status
- Develop appropriate medical nutrition therapy care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and caregivers
- Document recommendations for treatment in the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) per facility policy (Meditech required)
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and families to ensure the appropriate nutrition care plan is implemented and followed
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds with medical, nursing, and rehab staff
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
- Perform duties and responsibilities for both designated inpatients and ambulatory care patients
- Function as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient nutrition care plans
- Comply with all hospital-wide and departmental policies and procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Completion of required coursework, Dietetic Internship, and successful passing of the CDR exam
- If CDR exam passed prior to 1/1/24: A Bachelor’s degree with completed coursework and internship is acceptable
- Required:
- Active Maryland Dietitian Licensure (or Compact License if applicable)
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- Experience in:
- Teaching or Community Hospital settings
- Pediatric Rehabilitation Facilities
- Travel experience not required
