Senior Python Developer (Contract)

Location: Hybrid (Jersey City, NJ preferred) 4 days a week onsite

Rate: $60-$70 per hr (W2)…CAN'T SPONSOR H1B OR C2C

Duration: 6+MONTH

Overview

Join a high-impact Consulting project as a Senior Python Developer. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing enterprise-grade Python applications, contributing directly to a strategic financial services client initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications
• Collaborate with global teams (US, Canada, India) to align on requirements
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of existing codebases
• Leverage Kubernetes and SQL to support infrastructure and data needs
• Provide troubleshooting, technical support, and documentation as needed
  
  

Key Skills Required

• Python (Advanced – 6+ years experience)
• Kubernetes
• SQL
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work as an independent contributor
• Effective communicator with strong client-facing presence
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with Financial Services or Payments systems (SWIFT MT/MX)
• Local to the NY Tristate area and able to work onsite ~4 days/week in Jersey City, NJ
