About The Role
The Marketing Assistant works with the Marketing/Business Development team to support our district offices across the United States and Canada. This position will be responsible for assisting with the development of various marketing materials and communications, proposal and prequalification submittals, event and conference participation, digital media efforts, and performing other administrative tasks and marketing support.

Essential Functions
- Assist various marketing and business development efforts
- Complete company prequalification forms and surveys
- Edit/revise brochure and presentation content and graphics using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Power Point
- Support and maintain CRM and Digital Asset Management System
- Assist with industry event and conference coordination
- Support proposal development including creating organizational charts, project descriptions, and updating company resumes
- Order promotional items and materials
- Support digital media efforts (i.e. websites, intranet, and social media)
- Complete various tasks including packaging marketing materials for presentations (printing, creating tabs and labels, shipping), scheduling meetings, data entry, pulling reports, ordering supplies, maintaining marketing materials inventory, processing invoices, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards
ABOUT YOU
- Prior experience in a professional organization (construction/engineering/electric utility industry is a plus)
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint, and graphic layout is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, digital media or related field preferred; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint and graphic layout is preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a complex workload
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $40,000-$55,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
- Two days per week remote work option for non-field roles depending on position and performance.
