Position Purpose and Objectives
The primary purpose of the Lead Teller Virtual position is to assist Credit Union of Texas in living out its Brand Standards in providing outstanding service to internal and external members. The Lead Teller Virtual position is responsible to lead the Virtual Branch team in performing transaction efficiently and accurately, as well as identifying financial and service transactions via video for members.

Position Purpose and Objectives
The primary purpose of the Lead Teller Virtual position is to assist Credit Union of Texas in living out its Brand Standards in providing outstanding service to internal and external members. The Lead Teller Virtual position is responsible to lead the Virtual Branch team in performing transaction efficiently and accurately, as well as identifying financial and service transactions via video for members.
Major Duties And Essential Functions
- Meet and exceed Brand Standards for CUTX by consistently providing outstanding service to internal and external members with every interaction.
- Process member account transaction requests accurately and efficiently.
- Identify member financial need(s) and recommend appropriate/progressive credit union product/service solution.
- Regularly monitor team interactions to ensure the required level of service is met and offer feedback to help improve service.
- Meet or exceed established sales and service goals established by leadership.
- Lead the Virtual Branch team to meet or exceed their established sales and service goals.
- Monitor machine status and inform leadership of any concerns that require attention of leadership and/or vendors, and oversee the daily balancing of the Virtual Branch.
- Perform required audits of paperwork for team and any safety or software audits that are required.
- Exercise due diligence by placing appropriate holds on checks deposited in accordance with Regulation CC and CUTX Funds Availability Policy. Ensure team members are also adhering to these policies in member transactions.
- Remain compliant with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Assets Control and USA PATRIOT Act as they apply to the duties of the position. Ensure team members are also adhering to these policies.
- Approve checks, drafts for deposit and other member requests beyond Teller Virtual guidelines.
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of products and services by attending required training, retaining notifications of changes, and familiarity with all account/loan disclosures.
- Identify any efficiencies for staffing or processes and discuss recommendations with leadership.
- Train new team members on proper policies and procedures, and participate in coaching and developing team members to exceed the expectations of our members.
- Protect member information and other sensitive information by maintaining confidentiality while adhering to the credit union’s privacy policy.
- May perform other duties as required to maintain credit union services and operations.
