Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:

The Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and test strategies for Evosus’ software applications, following QA best practices to ensure the quality of Evosus products from a client perspective. This role will work closely with the product team, development team, and other QA team members to assess and refine the testing strategy to meet customer and business needs. Utilize modern testing tools to support the implementation and deployment of new and existing testing functionality. Familiarity with automated testing is required.

• Audits and ensures our product integrity and standards are being met and maintained.
• Validation of Android, iOS, Windows, and web applications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
• Design and implement automated test scripts.
• Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and issues.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and results.
• Design and execute performance, scalability, and load tests.
• Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks.
• Provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Assess and prioritize risks based on impact and likelihood.
• Document test processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Support UAT by coordinating with end-users and stakeholders.
• Assist in the creation and execution of UAT test cases.
• Participates in the release planning by analyzing scope, requirements, and risks, as well as providing estimations of test deliverables.
• Make recommendations for change and improvements to existing standards or procedures
• Engage with development and product owners to evaluate and verify the quality of stories and acceptance criteria.
• Timely identification and documentation of the severity of system issues and effective communication of adequate priority level and impact to appropriate parties.
• Troubleshoot systems to ensure reliability, usability, and performance.
• Diagnoses and documents advanced application issues received from Client Success.
• Applies industry best practices of standard testing methodologies and shares them with the team.
• Assists in our software release process as needed, which may involve working outside of normal business hours.
• Achieve annual and quarterly goals as set by the company, and reviewed with the QA Manager.

• Associate's degree OR 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with writing repeatable and reusable testing strategies.
• 4+ years of QA experience in writing and implementing tests.
• 3+ years of experience working within the SDLC.
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Hands-on experience testing ERP software.
• Experience with specialty retail or field service businesses.
• 2+ Years of experience in creating automated test cases.
• 2+ Years of experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Appium, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Familiarity with automated testing and deployment CI/CD tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
  

Here’s Where You’ll Hang Out

This position works from our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington in a professional office environment. Evosus is easily accessible, located less than a mile from I-5. We are across the street from a natural grocery store, a brewery, and many local restaurants.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position and workdays are Monday through Friday. The employee may be required to work additional hours for system down emergencies or after hour releases.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, in a hybrid work environment. You may work in the office or split time between the office and home, based on the hiring manager’s discretion.
