Unison Health is seeking a knowledgeable and employee-focused HR Generalist to support core Human Resources operations with a strong emphasis on benefits administration, compliance, employee support, and policy implementation. This role plays a key part in ensuring our staff receive the guidance, tools, and resources they need to thrive at work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, PTO, policies, and HR processes
  • Administer employee benefits, including new hire enrollments, life event changes, and open enrollment support
  • Coordinate FMLA, ADA, and other types of leave, ensuring timely communication and compliance
  • Support and track tuition reimbursement, HSA contributions, and other employee programs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in alignment with HR policies and legal requirements
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and internal standards
  • Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Collaborate with payroll, finance, and department leaders to ensure smooth employee experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in HR
  • Working knowledge of employment law, benefits regulations, and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (UKG experience a plus)
