Brief Description
The Events Coordinator will execute all creative vision casted by the Events Manager for internal and external events as well as coordinate, grow and track volunteer opportunities for DMP employees.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, Additional time as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
- At least 2 years’ experience assisting with special events
- At least 1 year experience of volunteer coordination
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and proof-reading
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and by phone
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments with little supervision
- Flexible with overtime
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and PowerPoint, a plus.
- Any other equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Research and assist with all creative ideas for all DMP events and In the Know News.
- Design all creative elements for internal DMP events to include artwork, forms, emails and event pages.
- Work with Events Manager to plan and implement DMP Cares pop-up donation and volunteer nights year-round.
- Monitor event email inbox and respond as necessary.
- Assist with all internal events to include all company meetings, special employee events, employee tournaments, etc.
- Collaborate with Events Team to proof and test registration materials, respond to registration inquiries and assist with troubleshooting.
- Provide on-site event support as needed for dealer visits, sales academies and technician bootcamps.
- Support Events Manager on all tasks for Owners Forum, Dealer Roundtables and dealer visits as needed.
- Responsible for packing, shipping and unpacking of supplies/materials to events.
- Evaluate event planning processes and propose new ideas to improve the process and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.
- Protects operation by keeping information confidential.
- Observes company policies. Continuously strives to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements.
- Observes and adheres to DMP Data Classification standard.
