Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for UnitedHealth Group’s public cloud spend, growth, and financial impacts
- Lead the Enterprise FinOps organization to drive daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly impacts managing and optimization of the enterprise cloud environment
- Develop and grow a technology savvy and financially fluent organization that effectively partners at every level of the organization
- Consult on the design and implementation of complex technology solutions that meet business needs and drive efficiency
- Conduct executive level briefings, presentations, and solution recommendations
- Own and represent a position on relative technical subjects, provide written narratives for complex concepts and well rationalized thinking
- Build collaborative working relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and their leaders to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of business objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor and collaborate with cross functional teams to support the delivery and execution of strategic initiatives involving ETIPS
- Advise key projects on their delivery plans while ensuring all teams are set up for success
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT management, technical program\product management, technology operations or similar experience
- 5+ years of experience with IT financial management, with P&L responsibilities >$100M
- 5+ years of experience working in public cloud, solid knowledge of cloud services and vendor management, preferably across 2 or more cloud service providers
- Proven leadership experience, including excellent communication and people skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of enterprise technology environments
- Experience navigating and working across multiple constituents to develop, communicate, and support a company’s short-term and long-term business objectives
- Ability to travel 15%
