Staff Registered Nurse

Title: Staff Registered Nurse

Location: Fall River, MA 02720

Hours: 32-40, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay: $55-60, depending on experience

Assignment Length: 2-3 months

Job Summary

We are searching for a Staff Registered Nurse to perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.

Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Provide functional or technical supervision over other employees in same or closely related classifications, where scope of supervisory responsibility is limited to direction, guidance, explanation, etc.

Responsibilities, Include But Not Limited To

• Coordinating nursing care
• Triaging patient calls
• Providing advice to staff or redirecting to physicians as needed
• Patient education
• RX refills
• Patient medication injections
• Providing clinical support to the practice
  
  

Education/Experience

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing
• Current RN Licensure in MA, required
• Current BLS certification, required
• One to three years of related experience, preferred
• Previous Medical Office experience, preferred
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR), preferred
• Experience in pulmonary, preferred
