We leverage technology to deliver accuracy and drive costs out of the supply chain by providing access to a broad range of medical-surgical products, inventory management practices, and expense management. The Business Systems Analyst 4 is a senior-level, highly technical leader within UCI Health's Supply Chain Systems Team. This role applies advanced business process and analysis concepts to resolve complex issues and develop scalable, system-wide solutions that directly impact clinical and operational supply chain workflows. The position functions with a high degree of autonomy, requiring recognized expertise in ERP administration, systems governance, audit compliance, and data management.
The incumbent is responsible for managing end-to-end access governance within the ERP platform and other integrated Supply Chain systems, including user provisioning, role-based permissions, workflow controls, and audit compliance. The role also involves selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for complex business issues requiring in-depth analysis of variable factors.
This position contributes to the strategic development of SCM systems by collaborating, designing and/or implementing scalable system enhancements and leading change initiatives. The Analyst collaborates with stakeholders across multiple departments, hospital leadership, and external vendors to ensure platform alignment with regulatory, organizational, and user needs. As a recognized subject matter expert, the Analyst may lead and/or further contribute to cross-functional organization teams.

Required Qualifications
What It Takes to be Successful
- High-level expertise in user access governance, workflow analysis, SOX/internal audit controls, and system integration
- Experience initiating or overseeing institutional procedural changes with measurable business impact
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across clinical, operational, and technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience applying advanced business analysis to ERP systems in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Ability to conceptualize and implement systemic changes in complex environments with min
- 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare supply chain systems, ERP platforms, or materials management systems
- Working knowledge of procurement, contracting, and inventory processes within a hospital or health system
- Lean/Kaizen process knowledge and application in systems improvement initiatives
- Interest or experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Kaizen, especially as applied to systems or workflow optimization
- General understanding of regulatory considerations related to data access, system security, and compliance in healthcare
- Familiarity with Premier ERP or comparable platforms used in healthcare environments
- Exposure to change management principles and the ability to support adoption of new systems or processes.
- Experience with third-party system integrations or exposure to API/EDI concepts
