Clinical Nurse II: Peds ED - 36hrs/week, DAYS

The Pediatric Emergency Department Clinical Nurse provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.

• They assess and respond to patient needs, applying sound judgment in care management and providing emergency and primary care.
• Collaborating with the nursing team, they create and follow plans of care, guide ancillary staff, and ensure professional standards.
• Requirements include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
