Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low-voltage control wiring for HVAC equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Collaborate with HVAC installers and project managers to ensure proper system integration.
- Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage circuits, sensors, thermostats, and communication lines.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Document wiring layouts and any modifications for project records.
- Perform quality control checks on all installations to ensure optimal performance.
- 3+ years of proven experience in low-voltage electrical work related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with low-voltage wiring standards, control systems, and communication protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- EPA 608 certification is a plus but not required.
