Position Overview
We are currently hiring a K-12 Academic Tutor who is passionate about helping students grow in both language arts and math fundamentals. In this role, you'll work with students one-on-one or in small groups, focusing on reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and elementary/middle school math skills—including topics such as number sense, fractions, word problems, and pre-algebra. This is a great opportunity for educators who enjoy working with a variety of ages and subjects, especially those who excel at building strong academic habits and boosting student confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized instruction in reading, writing, and grade-appropriate math
Help students strengthen skills in key areas like vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and math fluency
Support students with school readiness skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Education or related field preferred)
Experience teaching or tutoring students in middle or high school subjects
Comfortable teaching both reading/writing and basic to intermediate math concepts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with students across grade levels
Committed to helping students develop lifelong academic skills
