Senior Python Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and services using Python. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions to complex problems. The Senior Python Developer will also mentor junior developers and contribute to our codebase with best practices in mind.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
• Mentor junior developers and assist them with technical challenges
• Ensure best practices for coding, testing, and documentation are followed
• Debug and resolve production issues and optimize application performance
• Participate in architecture and design discussions for new projects
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the development process
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in Python development
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Demonstrated experience in writing unit tests and conducting code reviews
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
