What a Vice President of Operations does daily:

What a Vice President of Operations does daily:
- Promote safety in all actions
- Oversite of all CSCs
- CSC staffing needs
- CSC adequate tractor and trailing equipment; upkeep and count
- Assist with new customer set up and risk assessment
- Cultivate customer relations as well as help initiate sales revenue by building and expanding operational revenue
- Conduct monthly KBO reviews for each CSC
- CSC staff’s use of analytics
- Recruiting and Retention
- Operational safety and compliance
- CSC Staff and Professional driver’s HR and Risk compliance is maintained
- Travel as needed to conferences, customer events, and CSCs throughout the year
- Establish processes and procedures for optimizing the utilization of equipment and information technology
- Formulate forecasts and set goals to achieve those forecasts, by CSC, to reach the Owners’ plan.
- Work alongside the VP of Sales, VP of Maintenance & Facilities, and VP of Risk Management and the Executive team on strategies y to optimize results

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
- Business Degree or equivalent experience in Logistics
- Must have knowledge of bulk liquids and the regulations that follow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, federal and state standards
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Self-starter with detail oriented work habits
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Display professional demeanor
- Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with wide range of individuals
- Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of basic company employment policies and procedures
- Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual activity
- Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds)
- Normal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners.
- Required to travel 50% or more
