- Focus on developing new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts to increase both room and food and beverage revenues.
- Solicit new business through outside sales calls, area blitzes, prospecting, CVB and brand lead generation, internet research, and competitor analysis.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients through follow-ups, phone calls, and outside sales visits.
- Achieve monthly revenue goals set by the management team, adjusting strategies to meet targets.
- Review Group Pick-Up reports to monitor booking pace and provide clients with reservation updates.
- Prepare weekly reports as needed to track sales performance and progress.
- Review monthly financials to identify need periods, adjust sales efforts, and ensure guestroom booking pace aligns with budget targets.
- Attend trade shows, chamber events, and meetings as designated by the Director of Sales to represent the hotel and drive business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with operations to ensure consistent service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the hotel’s sales objectives.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience in direct selling, prospecting, and revenue generation in a hotel sales environment is preferred.
