The senior systems administrator serves in support of IT and strategic initiatives throughout the organization to design, test, and analyze processing systems based on related user and system design specifications. This role is responsible for system administration, data architecture, reporting design & execution, and data controls in coordination with other senior system administrators. Responsible to install, administer, upgrade, patch and performance tune Lending systems. Responsible for maintaining communication with all key stakeholders to determine their needs and the effectiveness of the lending systems. Research, analyze, maintain, document, recommend, and implement specific software and network solutions. Interacts with auditors, examiners, and other regulatory agencies. Provide technical assistance to end users and IT staff in the detection and resolution of lending system problems. Assists researching business requirements and evaluate vendor products and services.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience..
Driver’s License.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Taking projects from initial concept through planning and implementation
Thorough knowledge of loan products and applicable policies and standards.
Understanding of government regulations and legal requirements involving lending and related functions.
Familiarity with loan promotions and marketing practices.
Knowledge of business software applications.
Experience with loan management software systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work with a team, with minimal instruction or supervision.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly resolve issues.
Ability to collaborate with others to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of five years’ experience in Lending Software with progressive experience in lending related positions. Administrative and supervisory experience.

Responsible to install, administer, upgrade, patch and performance tune Lending systems. Responsible for maintaining communication with all key stakeholders to determine their needs and the effectiveness of the lending systems. Essential Functions And Basic Duties
- Lead multiple projects while troubleshooting sessions, eliciting, and refining business and system requirements to ultimately facilitate an appropriate solution.
- Assists lending management in developing short and long-term goals and plans for the loan systems in each department. Assists with development and training. Provides suggestions and recommendations.
- Work with architects and other developers to implement 3rd party software integrations for strategic projects.
- Provide guidance to teammates and other support departments throughout the process.
- Write and perform regression test plans on new lending system software releases and report discrepancies.
- Administer service cases with Lending Systems and other 3rd parties.
- Provide counsel on any queries or problems and communicate with 3rd parties to ensure cases are resolved in a timely manner.
- Identify any operational deficiencies to improve compliance with procedure and regulations.
- Schedule, monitor and develop as needed updates for lending systems as needed. Troubleshoot processing issues.
- Provide user maintenance for all lending and ancillary software packages.
- Develop and maintain documentation describing system features, procedures, testing, changes, and corrections.
- Provide leadership to peers including mentorship to new or less experienced team members.
- Support key company priorities and strategies for continuous improvement through continued process verification, simplification and automation while leveraging the core system capabilities to deliver the process efficiencies needed across the enterprise.
- Educate process stakeholders on how to identify and solve process challenges through the review of business rules, simulation of different scenarios, analysis of performance metrics and optimization capabilities within the lending systems as changes are made or new processes are added.
- To identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking and supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Work with business partners in implementing infrastructure solutions including deployment, troubleshooting and validation.
- Provide support in responding to escalations or outages impacting critical business functions.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient function of designated systems and applications
- Investigates new technology to improve system architecture and performance.
- Monitors and evaluates existing system technology. Provides suggestions for improved service.
- Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations exist with vendors and trade professionals.
- Represents the Credit Union in contacts with business and trade professionals.
- Ensures that requests, questions, and problems are courteously and professionally resolved. Ensures that communications are efficient and effective.
- Ensures that the Credit Union's professional reputation is maintained both internally and externally.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and with Management.
- Assists, serves, and informs branches and departments as needed.
- Keeps the Network Engineer informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Completes required reports, records, and other documentation.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Works a regular and predictable schedule.
- Must be sufficiently fluent in English to process work and business transactions.
