We are looking for a Systems Administrator with expertise in Microsoft 365 to join our IT Infrastructure team in a contract-to-hire role. This position focuses on managing Microsoft 365 services, ensuring system performance, and providing user support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Location: Piscataway, NJ (On-site, 5 days a week)

Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Defender).
- Manage user provisioning, permissions, and licenses in Microsoft 365.
- Monitor system health and performance, addressing issues as needed.
- Configure and manage security features like DLP, retention policies, and encryption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 apps and services.
- Perform regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide user training and ensure Microsoft 365 tool adoption.
- Manage Microsoft 365 security and identity services, including MFA and Azure AD.
- Maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 processes and configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with Microsoft 365 updates and best practices.
- Experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and security features (MFA, DLP).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Microsoft 365 certification preferred (e.g., Enterprise Administrator Associate).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Zendesk, Asana).
