Description
The Community Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the sales goals assigned to their assigned branch annually. This includes the coaching of branch staff for product knowledge, listening for client needs, and excellence in client service. The position coaches to comply with branch’s operations policies and procedures to ensure quality control protocols are in place while delivering high quality service. This position is responsible to coach branch staff to seek opportunities for referrals for all banking products and ancillary services. The Community Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching the branch team in sales management and follow the unique market strategy assigned to that branch. This position includes the management of consumer and business account relationships assigned to their portfolio and referring business leads to other lines of business (business, commercial, private banking, mortgage and insurance). The primary areas of impact for this role are branch and bank growth, strategic planning, training, and coaching excellence in service goal management.
Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for self-sourcing loan and deposit opportunities focusing on businesses with revenues less than $3,000,000.00. Branch sales management and training branch staff on product knowledge. Implements strategies for the delivery of quality and effective customer service. Manage consumer and small business account relationships assigned and brought into their branch/market (<$3MM) and based on zip code for the deposit credit) Develops business leads through community and civic involvement in local organizations Able to initiate and respond to Consumer Loan and Small business loans (Less than $250,000) requests questions from clients and prospects using the HUB product. Coaches branch team to seek opportunities that will grow the bank and follow the banks’ service model. Coaches in tandem with the Branch Operations Supervisor or Branch Operations Manager the Relationship Banker’s to a high-performance standard. Recognize opportunities to coach branch Relationship Bankers in creating a collaborative approach to the client experience and sales culture of the Bank. Monitors performance for team goals and coaches for areas of improvement. Monitors Salesforce to ensure proper tracking of sales and service needs utilizing Salesforce CSR’s Uses Salesforce to ensure proper tracking of opportunities and service requests ( CSR’s) as well as referring to partners. Utilizes Salesforce daily for employee, client communications and pipeline maintenance. Recommends new procedures that may foster more consistency within the branch network. Works and collaborates across lines of business with internal clients to help grow market share. Develops and participates in Community Development Opportunities as needed. Seeks out CRA opportunities through assigned zip codes. Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education and Experience Qualifications:
High School Diploma and/or GED required. Minimum of three to five years of management experience in a banking environment. Must be able to work independently, have well developed people and referral skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment.
