While a dental background is not required, strong management and business operations experience is essential. The ideal candidate is a proactive and decisive leader who can provide the structure, support, and direction needed to create a high-functioning and cohesive team.

The Business Manager will work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, financial performance, and a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Serve as the central leader of the office. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration. Provide consistent guidance, coaching, and performance management to all team members.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all non-clinical aspects of the practice, including scheduling systems, patient flow, inventory, vendor relations, and technology. Ensure efficient daily operations and optimal use of resources.
- Business & Financial Management: Monitor and drive financial performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), managing budgets, analyzing trends, and implementing strategies to meet revenue goals. Coordinate financial presentations and oversee collections and billing processes (dental experience not required; training provided).
- Strategic Planning & Growth: Partner with leadership to plan for future growth, increase patient acquisition, and optimize service offerings. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Patient & Staff Experience: Champion an exceptional patient experience by ensuring smooth communication between patients, clinical staff, and administrative teams. Lead efforts to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Compliance & HR Management: Oversee office compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development in collaboration with practice leadership.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in team leadership and business operations, preferably in a healthcare, service-based, or customer-facing industry.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of operational management, budgeting, staffing, and process improvement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Capable of fostering a respectful and productive work environment while effectively managing conflicts.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in office management systems, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and able to learn practice management software quickly.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and management experience will be considered.
- Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 annually
