Physiatrist Contractor

This position is for a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist working as a 1099 independent contractor.

• It offers flexible, part-time on-site work, typically a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, to complement your current practice.
• Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return-to-work and functional recovery, and performing procedures like EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries.
• The role involves collaboration with medical and therapy providers, communication with employers, and active case management.
• Qualifications include licensure in the state, MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility, unrestricted DEA license, and medical malpractice insurance.
• Preferred experience involves treating work-related injuries. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
