Job Overview

Upland Construction is looking to hire a skilled, hands-on Residential Remodeling Superintendent to manage residential remodeling projects with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have broad trade experience, strong finish carpentry skills, and a talent for stepping in to complete tasks that don't warrant a subcontractor. This role is critical in ensuring that high-end residential jobs run smoothly, stay on schedule, and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities on high-end residential remodels
• Perform hands-on tasks as needed to fill scope gaps too small for subcontractors
• Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines and standards
• Communicate effectively and professionally with homeowners and clients
• Resolve problems and adapt plans quickly to maintain project progress
• Perform and inspect finish carpentry and detail work
• Anticipate project needs and plan several steps ahead to prevent delays
• Maintain detailed daily site reports and communicate progress to management
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling or construction
• Broad working knowledge of all residential construction trades
• Proficiency in finish carpentry required
• Strong problem-solving and forward-planning skills
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for high-end clientele
• Ability to work independently and make on-the-spot decisions with confidence
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
