What We Are Looking For

Bender Companies is looking for a responsible professional to join our team as a Cleaner. It is important for this position to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence is imperative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16-$19 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On Call
• Weekends as needed
  
  

Here Are Some Things That Will Make You Successful

• Proven experience as cleaner, custodian, janitor, or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness
  
  

What You Will Be Doing

As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our property in a clean and orderly fashion. We prioritize providing a pristine environment for our residents, and your contributions will be essential in achieving that goal.

Core Responsibilities Include

• Report major damages and oversee repairs
• Maintaining grounds of the properties
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of:
• Leasing offices
• Parking lots
• Community buildings
• Building exteriors
• Hallways
• Assist in cleaning and preparing market-ready units
• Other tasks as assigned
  

Where You Will Work

This position will require you to work on-site at one of our properties in the Battle Creek area.
