• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• 8am – 5pm
• No Weekends
• No Holidays
• Will involve active engagement in Medical Assistant Town Halls or Medical Assistant Councils
• Will involve active collaboration with the education team to provide training for other Medical Assistants
  
  
  

Plans, develops, facilitates, implements, and evaluates education in the Medical Assistant Program. Assists in the development and implementation of student performance standards, student admissions and selection process, and program accreditation activities. Ensures that education in the program is properly coordinated, and that all students receive adequate instruction, simulation skill practices, and experiences. Assists in developing promotional materials for internal and/or external publicity.

• Associate's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Requires current certification in medical assistant program: (American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), National Health Center Association (CCMA), National Center for competency Testing (NCMA), or American Medical Certification Association (CMAC).
• Requires knowledge of adult education principles and applications.
• Requires ability to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and training resources.
• Requires knowledge of computer software applications.
• Requires the ability to assess and diagnose learner needs.
• Requires 3-5 years of ambulatory experience, and 1 year of teaching experience or equivalent.
