We are searching for a Practice Manager II -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will direct, supervise, and coordinate the overall operations of a practice as well as to advise, coach and mentor practice staff.
Think you’ve got what it takes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3 years supervisory experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Practice Manager certification from the Practice Management Institute preferred
- A master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field will substitute for two years of required supervisory experience
- Keeps customers informed by explaining all tasks, processes, and procedures
- Monitors workflow and ensures adequate coverage of level 2 practice
- Interviews applicants, in conjunction with HR and ADRO/ DRO, to assure that open positions are filled in a timely manner by qualified candidates
- Ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures and external regulatory agencies of level 2 practice
- Holds staff accountable for policy and procedure violations, addressing any performance or conduct issues in a timely, consistent manner
- Ensures patient balances are collected at time of service and payments are posted according to practice protocol
- Coaches and counsels employees of level 2 practice
- Conducts staff and provider meetings, on a scheduled basis, to address issues and provide updates
