General Summary
The Inventory Manager plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory physically and systematically to support efficient warehouse operations. This position involves the management of accurate receiving, storing, and organizing incoming shipments, as well as planning of regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are maintained. The Inventory Manager will partner with other warehouse operations leadership to uphold efficiency and accuracy in inventory management processes with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee inventory operations, including cycle counts, investigation of discrepancies, maintain accuracy of Paris Brothers WMS, and customer warehouse systems.
- Develop, coordinate with operations, and help implement processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory accuracy and location accuracy.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Oversee proper storage and handling of goods to prevent damage or shrinkage.
- Train and manage inventory control staff, including supervisors and hourly employees.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure team development.
- Create a positive and productive work environment that fosters teamwork.
- Enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment and comply with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Heavy focus on continuous improvement of inventory processes to improve efficiency, a positive culture, and customer service.
- Work closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely and accurate inventory related information.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues related to inventory timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- 3 years of experience in inventory leadership or a related role.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Proven experience building, motivating, leading, and direct a team to meet business needs
Knowledge Of
- Warehouse and food distribution operations
- Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Performing a variety of duties, including changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Troubleshoot, problem solve, to find a root cause then being able to articulate to leadership
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Available to work extended hours, stand for long periods, bend, and reach.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds repeatedly and frequently.
