As our Construction Estimator, you'll play a critical role in setting each project up for success. You'll be responsible for analyzing client needs, reviewing drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with our sales and operations teams to ensure alignment between vision, scope, and budget.

This is not a behind-the-scenes number-crunching job. You'll be part of early conversations with clients, offering input and creative solutions that balance cost, quality, and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates for pole barn and light commercial projects
• Review drawings, specs, and client notes to develop detailed proposals
• Analyze site plans, construction requirements, and potential risks or variables
• Collaborate with the Client Success Manager to refine scopes of work and align expectations
• Source material and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
• Maintain internal price catalogs and keep estimates up to date with market conditions
• Input proposals into Buildertrend and maintain clear project documentation
• Support team members with budget and scope clarification as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in construction estimating, design, or similar role
• Strong understanding of materials, labor costs, and construction methods
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with Buildertrend or similar estimating software (preferred)
• Excellent math, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• $70,000 to $85,000 base salary
