Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor patients' heart rhythms, vital signs, and other clinical parameters using telemetry equipment to detect any irregularities or life-threatening changes.
- Analyze and interpret telemetry data to identify signs of arrhythmias, ischemia, or other cardiac conditions, and act promptly to manage any complications.
- Administer prescribed medications, such as antiarrhythmics or anticoagulants, and provide treatments related to cardiovascular health, monitoring for side effects or reactions.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to develop care plans, provide updates on patient conditions, and educate patients on managing their cardiovascular health and the use of home telemetry equipment after discharge.
- MA Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificates
- Experience in a telemetry or cardiac care unit is preferred
- Pay: $2,383.18 - $2,456.89 / week
- Location: Lawrence, MA
- Assignment Length: 13
