VP of Brand Soul, Substance & Style
The Vice President of Brand Soul, Substance and Style (VP of Brand for short) is a visionary
leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the company's overall brand strategy, creative direction, and cultural identity. This individual will steward the brand's visual and verbal expression, champion its purpose and values, and ensure a cohesive brand narrative that resonates across both internal and external audiences. This role leads multidisciplinary teams and fosters cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth, customer loyalty, and an identity-driven company culture.

VP of Brand Soul, Substance & Style
The Vice President of Brand Soul, Substance and Style (VP of Brand for short) is a visionary
leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the company's overall brand strategy, creative direction, and cultural identity. This individual will steward the brand's visual and verbal expression, champion its purpose and values, and ensure a cohesive brand narrative that resonates across both internal and external audiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy & Vision
- Define and implement a unified brand strategy that aligns with the company's mission, business objectives, and market positioning.
- Develop messaging and identity frameworks that resonate with target audiences while reinforcing brand purpose and differentiation.
- Creative Direction & Execution
- Lead the creative vision for all brand expressions, including campaigns, content, design, storytelling, and visual assets.
- Ensure high-quality creative output across all platforms, maintaining a consistent and engaging brand experience.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of brand, creative, and content professionals, including designers, copywriters, strategists, and external agencies.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive team culture driven by innovation and creative excellence.
- Brand Consistency & Experience
- Oversee the development and application of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including digital, physical, internal, and customer-facing channels.
- Lead efforts to measure, optimize, and evolve the brand experience based on market insight and performance data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence
- Partner with key departments such as Marketing, Product, People, and Sales to embed the brand into every stage of the customer and employee journey.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on brand positioning, communication, and reputation.
- Manage brand and creative budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources to drive ROI.
- Track performance metrics (KPIs, consumer insights, culture analytics) and make data-informed decisions to continuously optimize brand health and equity.
- Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in brand strategy, creative leadership, and employee or cultural engagement—with a proven track record of success in senior roles.
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated skill in managing and growing creative and cross-functional teams.
- Creative Vision: Exceptional creative sensibility with the ability to translate brand strategy into emotionally resonant and distinctive content.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while managing detailed execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written storytelling skills; able to inspire teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
