Job Summary
As a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at Belt Power, LLC, you be responsible for receiving, storing, pulling, and shipping of parts, materials, and supplies coming in or out of the warehouse as well as a general daily lead of the Shipping and Receiving Associates to ensure the highest level of productivity. Leads by example, monitor, and promote a safe, clean organized work environment at all times. Communicate and work with other departments as necessary to ensure we are meeting all expectation of outbound/inbound shipments.
Responsibilities
The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls, tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, install, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will be regularly exposed to working near moving and mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position in a shop and at the customer site. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday. Frequent after-hours and weekend work; significant potential for overtime pay.
Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00 an hour

Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervisor has direct supervision over personnel in the Shipping & Receiving Department and other personnel as assigned.
- Receiving and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; main stock area, follow sales order.
- Ships product, verifies, and records all items loaded for shipments.
- Works with truck carriers and couriers.
- Part of the Intralox and Filter Screen Department.
- Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned.
- Maintains database of shipment data.
- Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
- Ensure key final quality control checks are completed, logged, and quality processes are executed prior to shipping or when receiving product.
- Drive quality corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives in the production environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
- Cross trained on the following:
- Duties to fabricate
- Install and repair conveyor belts and systems
- Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved.
- Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations; maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Planning scheduling and assigning work; checking and approving work instructing and training in work methods; conducting performance appraisals and making recommendations regarding disciplinary actions.
- Execute cycle-count program as defined by the logistics group; improve inventory accuracy.
- Oversee warehouse and inventory management activities to include bin maintenance, product flow design, housekeeping, etc.
- Complete daily and weekly logistical tasks and participate in meetings as needed.
- Respect, protect, support, company culture.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience supervising or leading teams or crews in line level activities.
- One year preferred experience in Shipping and Receiving work.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Organization and prioritization skills; attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical background.
- The ability to interpret and verify precise measurements using a tape measure.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights and tight spaces.
- Overtime hours and weekend work may be required.
- Computer literate.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, and background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Independent operator, willingness to drive change.
