People Operations Manager - Remote

As a People Operations Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience, optimizing processes, and driving organizational effectiveness from the ground, up. This role blends hands-on operational execution with strategic thinking, requiring strong cross-functional partnerships to deliver high-impact People initiatives.
You will balance daily administrative tasks and a service-oriented support model with broader strategic initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with both immediate employee needs and long-term business goals. Your work will span onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee experience, systems and automation, and project coordination, ensuring our People programs are efficient, scalable, and effective. What You'll Do
- Lead and support People Operations initiatives, ensuring high standards and smooth execution in areas such as payroll & benefits administration, learning and development initiatives, automation and efficiency of systems, employee recognition programs, and virtual engagement initiatives.
- Drive HR compliance and support strategy work, enabling open enrollment, presentations for new hire onboarding, oversight of employee recognition programs, support for payroll processes, ensuring data integrity in our systems, and evaluation of new tools and technology.
- Balance daily administrative tasks and a service-oriented support model with broader strategic initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with business and employee needs both short and long-term.
- Deliver a best-in-class employee experience through clear communication, empathy, and a commitment to inclusivity.
- Oversee, streamline, and enhance employee experience processes, driving operational excellence and engagement.
- Support organizational change management efforts, balancing transparency, trust, and empowerment of stakeholders.
- Lead complex, high-impact projects that shape the workplace culture and long-term success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, proactively communicating and addressing roadblocks.
- 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related function, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a strong track record of contributing to strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and systems, with experience driving operational improvements.
- Experience with either benefits or payroll administration is a must; both would be a major bonus!
- Demonstrated ability to drive change initiatives and manage complex tasks & projects effectively.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage and communicate with employees.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HR systems (HRIS, payroll, compliance tracking).
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a highly collaborative team.
- Experience working with global teams and navigating cultural nuances in people operations is a plus.
