Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from initiation through completion
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, schedule, and resourcing
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Conduct regular site visits (travel up to 50%) to monitor progress and resolve issues
Review blueprints, schematics, and documentation to ensure design intent and feasibility
Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety standards, and regulations
Supervise trade contractors remotely and in person, ensuring quality and accountability
Assist on-site construction team when needed; hands-on involvement is encouraged
Source, evaluate, and manage subcontractor relationships
Track budgets, control project costs, and submit timely progress reports
Utilize project management software (Procore or similar platforms preferred)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent professional experience
5+ years in a construction project management role, with commercial remodeling focus
Trade experience or deep understanding of trades highly preferred
Proficient in blueprint reading and construction documentation
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage stress and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license required
Non-smoking environment adherence
Willingness to travel up to 50%
