WesleyLife Hospice is looking for a dynamic, committed Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team! We've offered Hospice services to our community for more than a decade, and we are searching for candidates who believe in offering care that allows clients to focus on relationships, connections, and living the rest of their lives. Our Hospice program is guided by Christian compassion and provides our clients with access to a comprehensive team of Hospice volunteers, case managers, social workers, aides, and spiritual care counselors.

As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your principal responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patients the attention needed to create a sanitary and orderly environment

  • Assisting with personal care including bathing, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting

  • Communicating identified needs and potential solutions to the interdisciplinary group

  • Taking vital signs

  • Participating in staff meetings, educational programs, and community events

Most importantly, it's our expectation that you will take the time and make it a priority to build relationships with the people you serve, their families, and with your team members. CNAs on our Hospice team help create an environment of health and well-being, delivering high-touch and personalized service with a high degree of quality, compassion, and respect for each person.

We need you to be at least 18 years old. You must be servant-hearted with a deep desire to serve older adults and support their emotional and physical well-being. You must have the ability to effectively communicate with each person served, the ability to put others before yourself, and a great teamwork attitude! Reliability, dependability, integrity, and a high level of energy and passion for the work of our organization are required. Beginner to intermediate level computer skills are required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Current certification as a CNA

  • Previous hospice experience

  • Experience with electronic medical records

Because of our commitment to health and well-being, candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire health assessment and drug screen prior to employment.
