Responsible for the coordination of all organization wide accreditation activities including measuring, monitoring, trending, facilitating, initiating, providing support, and education of performance improvement activities practices and principles. Ensures that the organization is in compliance with standards of regulatory agencies (i.e. Joint Commission, CMS, DHH, hospital licensing), at all times.
Provides direct supervision, coaching and mentoring to professional personnel of the department. Designs, develops, analyzes, and modifies detailed reports through the use of queries to databases to support Accreditation readiness goals. Creates reports and analyzes hospital-wide data in support of performance improvement activities. Manages and maintains integrated Information Technology resources and systems for Quality Management division.
Serves as a resource for other employees in facilitating quality improvement teams assuring the implementation of strong quality improvement strategies using proven quality methods, tools/techniques. Initiates, coordinates and supports hospital-wide and department-specific performance improvement projects to support regulatory agency standards. Works with different levels of the hospital to support overall business strategies. Assists with other Risk and Quality issues as assigned

Position Requirements: (Minimum qualifications for the position)
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana Licensure as a Registered Nurse or compact RN license from state of residence that permits.
- Education: Master's in Health Administration or other healthcare related discipline preferred. Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field.
- Experience: Proficiency with performance improvement models, preferably FOCUS-PDCA. Knowledgeable of PI related Joint Commission standards. Participation in previous Joint Commission survey(s) required. PI related experience required.
Special qualifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access
