Simple Habit is looking to add an experienced and innovative Product Marketing Manager to our team! You'll not only be the first marketing hire on the team but you will lead all go-to-market efforts, product positioning, value prop, pricing, etc. on our new Sleep Product (currently in stealth mode).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define, develop and execute the go-to-market strategy
Market intelligence — Do the user research yourself, be the expert on our consumers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria
Competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
Develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target customer personas. Design a process to test them and make decisions
Design & execute on the Launch strategy
Update the product positioning based on stage of the company/product
Understand (and document) our customer’s journey, including where they get information and what influences their decision making.
Consistently drive changes to our marketing processes & messaging in customer journey based on consumer insights
Ensure alignment on product positioning and comms architecture across all channels by working closely with Product, Design, Paid Acquisition
Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes
Interested and able to flex with business needs: copywriting, optimizing onboarding conversions, content strategies, email/push, etc.
5+ years of Product Marketing experience in a digital & B2C environment
Proven experience developing and executing new product GTM, positioning, value prop, pricing work (value props, positioning, messaging)
Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning & developing copy
Ability to flex between high-level strategy & execution
Innovative, analytical and detail-oriented
Super-star project management skills across multiple projects with very tight deadlines
Open to ambiguity & willingness to wear many hats
Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead & influence
Nice to have:
Experience working on a "category creating" product
Experience with premium subscriptions & developing pricing plans
Background in Psychology
