The Payroll Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Payroll Department with daily clerical tasks in a high-volume environment. Daily tasks include answering Payroll hotline, logging service market place cases, employee verification of employment requests, maintaining all Payroll mail distribution, assists with manual check processing, maintain wage garnishments files, maintain employee requests, and additional duties as assigned.
- Responsible for assignments that are well defined and standardized in nature.
- Receives close supervision or detailed instructions.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Resource to support Senior Payroll Specialist general tasks so they can focus on high priority process and maintain high performing customer focused experience.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of recent and consecutive Payroll experience in a high-volume payroll environment
Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with minimal experience.
Required: Outlook, Microsoft, Excel
Preferred: Ultipro, Oracle HCM
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask
