MPE PEG (PCH and Graphix Manufacturing) Group is looking for Product Development Engineer (PDE) responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Evaluation, development, and debug of test methods. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and test time reduction. Analyzes early customer returns with an emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
Crates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, and experience.
In this role, you will be part of a team supporting electrical validation of Clients cutting-edge IOs such as PCIe, SATA, USB2, USB3.X, CNVio, USF etc…,. It requires both pre and post-Si engagement and close collaborations within and outside the team to ensure the design and test content robustness, ultimately delivering the highest quality products to customers.
Skill sets required (in addition to the ones listed above) not limited to the following:
• Bench design validation using oscilloscope and BERTs
• Experience with debug HSIOs such as PCIe, USB2, USB3, PLLs etc…
• Familiar with statistical analysis understanding
• Basic Python scripting
• Hardware architecture, logic/circuit design and implementation
• DFT, hardware testing methods and tools
• Debug and validation experience of HSIO analog circuitry .
• Semiconductor device physics, programming and semiconductor testing
Minimum Educational Requirement:
Bachelors Degree - Electronics Engineering '
