General Summary of Position: The Mohs Histotechnologist supports the Mohs surgery practice by preparing and processing histologic specimens for microscopic evaluation by the Mohs surgeon. Performs administrative tasks related to clinic needs, and maintains standards and compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and other regulatory agencies. Education: Bachelor#s degree in Medical Technology or related field is required. Experience: Minimum 12 months of pertinent laboratory experience. Certification/Registration/Licensure: American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification as Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) is preferred. #
